Grok Voice 3.0
From SpaceXSI (formerly xAI)
A speech-to-speech model for voice agents that tops a third-party index at the same price as its predecessor.
- Best for
- Teams building phone and support voice agents where latency and per-minute cost decide the deal.
- Pricing hint
- Usage-based API pricing per minute of conversation.
Grok Voice 3.0 is a real-time speech-to-speech model in the Voice Agent API. SpaceXSI cites Artificial Analysis testing that ranks it first on its Speech-to-Speech Index, with latency under one second. Agents on grok-voice-latest were switched over automatically.
Where it fits
- Same price as version 2.0.
- Strong third-party benchmark showing, per the vendor.
Where it does not
- Benchmarks were selected and published by the vendor.
- On the support-call test it is roughly level with OpenAI's model rather than ahead.

Others in Agents
- ChatGPT — The default general assistant. Broad enough for everyday writing and light tool use, and less predictable than Claude when a long edit has to stay careful.
- Claude — The best default for long documents and careful agent-style work. Easier to steer than most chats, and less of a do-everything platform than ChatGPT.
- Devin Oncall — An on-call agent that starts the moment an alert fires, digs through telemetry and code, and hands you a fix as a pull request.
- Gemini — Worth opening when the work already lives in Google, or when you want image generation in the same chat. Not the first pick for code or a long edit.
