Perplexity is the editorial pick for GEO because you can watch the citations. It is a reading tool, not an SEO suite. Pair it with your own pages and, if you pay for one, a research suite.

- Sources are visible, which is the whole point for GEO.
- Fast when the question is factual.
合わないところ
- Citations can be thin or off-target; open them.
- It is not a content optimizer.

- Ahrefs — The research suite for links, keywords, and competitive pages. Expensive. Some plans add reports about AI answers; treat those as a supplement to looking yourself.
- ChatGPT — The default general assistant. Broad enough for everyday writing and light tool use, and less predictable than Claude when a long edit has to stay careful.
- Claude — The best default for long documents and careful agent-style work. Easier to steer than most chats, and less of a do-everything platform than ChatGPT.
