A research note says what the authors claim, what they measured, and what they do not claim. If the abstract says the result is narrow, the headline stays narrow. Benchmarks are copied from the paper or they are left out. They are not rounded into a slogan.
Order of reading
- The paper or the abstract, linked.
- The limitations section, if there is one.
- The company post, after the paper, to see what it added.
- Independent comment only when it is on the record and linked.
No breakthrough is announced in this file. When one is real enough to write, the sources list will point at the paper, not at this template.
