Google said on October 13 that Gemini 4 Argon is available to developers and enterprises through the Gemini API in AI Studio and on the Gemini platform. Google AI Ultra subscribers can use it in Google Antigravity. Ultra and Pro subscribers can use it in the Gemini app and in AI Mode in Search.

The introductory price is $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens through November 30, 2026. After that, Google said the price is $4 and $20. Cached input tokens are 95 percent off the input price during the introduction. Google said the API offers a 1 million token limit that covers input and output together. On Google Cloud the model id is gemini-4-argon.

What came before the public release

Google announced Argon on September 30 and said it was first going to a set of cyber defenders in a program it called Fairwind. The October 13 posts are the wider release, not that earlier limited rollout.
